UPDATE: Was Tamerlan Tsarnaev, suspect in Boston Marathon Bombing, hand-cuffed and detained by police? Hebert D. posted this video on YouTube, April 19, 2013. It allegedly shows the first suspect being detained by authorities. The authenticity of the video and the news station it was captured by in Brazil is still in question. The man detained could be an accomplice of the two suspects.
The father of the two suspects, Anzor Tsarnaev, told an Interfax Correspondent that “special services framed” his children:
“I learned about the incident from TV. My opinion is: the special services have framed my children, because they are practicing Muslims. Why did they kill Tamerlan? He was supposed to be caught alive. The younger is on the run now. He was a sophomore at a medical school in the U.S. We expected him to come home for vacation. Now I don’t know what’s going to happen. Tell you once again: I believe special services have framed my children.”
The second suspect wanted by authorities in the Boston Marathon bombing plot, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, was captured alive, seriously injured, by authorities at 7 pm (EDT) Friday, April 19, 2013. A resident of Watertown, Mass. found the young man hiding in the back of his boat. Found in a curled-up position, the resident called the police. It is not clear if the suspect saw the resident at that time.
When authorities approached the boat in question, more shots were fired. Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis said in a press conference, “Over the course of the next hour or so, we exchanged gunfire with the suspect who was inside the boat and ultimately, the hostage rescue team or the FBI made an entry into the boat and removed the suspect who was still alive in the boat…the hostage rescue team actually did work in trying to negotiate him out of that boat. They did try to talk him out. Although from what I understand, he was not communicative.”

Controlled and Set-Up?
Zubeidat K. Tsarnaeva told Russia Today that her younger son “was controlled by the FBI, like for three, five years. They knew what my son was doing, they knew what actions and what sites on the Internet he was going [to], they used to come…and talk to me…they were telling me that he was really a serious leader and they were afraid of him.”
The suspect’s aunt has also stated she believes her two nephew’s were set-up by someone with something to gain from the frame-up.
The uncle has also been asked about allegations against his family members.
