Expect more and more of these types of reports coming from the media now that Ron Paul is finally moving forward in the polls. Look for the media to demonize him, to paint him anti-Israeli, make him look like a racist and all sorts of other things. Our media is about to become unglued and the attacks are going to be chasing Ron Paul to every corner.
Many a newsletter was written in Paul’s name some two decades ago. Most of them stood by what the Constitution said but a few are being painted a little out of character even for Ron Paul. My own newsletter are filled with little tidbits that try to tell you “how to save yourself and family” in view of our over bearing government. I don’t think that makes me a racist. Many of my blog articles touch on the subject and try to get to a root cause of the problem, which, as it turns out, is usually the governments fault not the people’s fault. That certainly doesn’t make me a racist.
These newsletters are coming to light when Ron Paul is finally beginning to move in the polls. It is not like they are unknown. They were brought to light four years ago in his last election bid. Back then, he responded by telling the public that he didn’t write them and he wasn’t sure who did. That truth of course will

“If Ron Paul should be slammed for anything, it’s not some silly remarks he’s made in the past in his Newsletters. It’s over his simply outrageously horrendous views on foreign policy, Israel, and national security for the United States. His near No vote on Afghanistan. That is the big scandal,” he concludes.
Paul has said he did not know what was in the newsletters. The Times looks at the newsletter issue more broadly, and gets Paul to comment on his less savory supporters. He told the newspaper that he rejects their extremist views but not their backing.
