Democrat Donor Found With Second Dead Man In 18 Months

Ed Buck apparently has a predilection for “drugging sex workers,” and the second death in his home has caused outrage even from supporters.

A black man was found dead early Monday in the Los Angeles apartment of the Democratic fundraiser Ed Buck. This is the second time a body has been discovered in his home in the last year and a half.

The victim, whose identity wasn’t disclosed, “was found at 1:05 a.m. (4:05 a.m. ET) in Buck’s apartment in West Hollywood after someone called 911, said Los Angeles County sheriff’s Deputy Charles Moore, who said that while the Homicide Bureau was investigating, the cause of death remained unknown.”

Federal election records show that Buck has advocated for LGBT issues for decades, and has donated over $150,000 to various democrats since 2004. But, many people argue that his money has allowed him to conduct sick acts, without fear of punishment, that have led to two deaths.

In July, 2017, authorities cleared Buck in the death of Gemelle Moore, a 26-year-old gay male prostitute, whose body was found in the same apartment. Investigators declared his death the result of an accidental overdose of crystal methamphetamine.

Several young gay black men have claimed Buck “has a fetish for shooting drugs into black men he picks up off the street or on hookup sites.”

“I’ve become addicted to drugs and the worst one at that,” Moore wrote in his journal before he died. “Ed Buck is the one to thank. He gave me my first injection of crystal meth.”

The Los Angeles County District Attorney did not even file charges against the democrat money man, citing “insufficient evidence.”

“City Council members John D’Amico and Lindsey Horvath have reached out to City Manager Paul Arevalo, asking him to request that newly elected Sheriff Alex Villanueva put priority on investigating [the man’s] death,” according to Wehoville. “Councilmember Lauren Meister also has pressed for the homicide division to investigate.”

Investigators reopened the case last year after Moore’s friends and family raised concerns that his political connections might have contributed to the decision.

A rally is set to be held at Buck’s home demanding the District Attorney “prosecute him for murder after another young Black gay man was found dead in his West Hollywood apartment of an apparent overdose.”

“The sheriff’s department said Monday that Buck was present during both incidents and that investigators were reviewing the 2017 case again.”

Buck’s attorney, Seymour Amster, told reporters yesterday that Buck that his client was walking free and hadn’t been charged for any crime related to Monday’s death. He claimed the man was a “longtime friend” of Buck’s who asked to come over to his home.

“Ed was reluctant, but the friend was insistent, so Ed allowed the friend to come over,” Amster said. A short time later, the man “began exhibiting bizarre behavior,” which prompted Buck to call 911.

The Los Angeles LGBT Center urged Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva to investigate Monday’s case aggressively.

“LGBT people have a considerable and urgent interest in a case that is so clearly linked to the health and safety of our community,” the organization said in a statement. “The reports we have heard provide more questions than answers.”

Buck first came to prominence in Arizona during the 1980s, when he led the successful drive to impeach Republican Gov. Evan Mecham, who had been widely denounced for remarks critical of the LGBT community and members of racial minority groups. Mecham was removed from office in 1988 in connection with allegations of misuse of campaign funds but was acquitted at his criminal trial later in the year.”

Given that this man has two bodies turn up in 18 months, most people agree, is troubling. Others say it’s downright evil that he seems to prey on prostitutes, much like Jack the Ripper.
