NORAD to Conduct Training Over National Capital Region –Fighter jets flying over Annapolis overnight from Tuesday into Wednesday 10 Jan 2012 The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) will be conducting a series of training flights to practice its rapid response capability, according to a release. The testing, known as exercise Falcon Virgo 12-04, is set to begin at 12:01 a.m. Wednesday and continue into the early morning. It is scheduled for the national capital region, which includes the Annapolis area. The exercise includes a series of training flights in coordination with the Federal Aviation Administration, the National Capital Region Coordination Center, the Joint Air Defense Operations Center, Civil Air Patrol, U.S. Coast Guard and NORAD’s Continental United States Region (CONR) Western Air Defense Sectors, according to the release.
