Not so fast leftist opportunists. The New Zealand shooter’s manifesto reveals an ideology more in common with the left than mainstream propaganda may run with. 28-year-old Australian native Brenton Tarrant went on an anti-Muslim rampage, targeting two Mosques in the city of Christ Church in New Zealand. What has been dubbed a terrorist attack by the authorities and described as such by the shooter’s manifesto, has so far claimed the lives of 49 and wounded roughly the same number. Tarrant was arrested after targeting a second mosque. Additionally, three other people were arrested in connection with the shooting. But the details of their involvement remains unclear. Tarrant announced his intent to attack the mosque on 8 chan and then live streamed the 17 minutes of terror on facebook. The footage quickly spread on Twitter, YouTube and Facebook. Tarrant’s 74-page manifesto titled “The Great Replacement” rants on topics regarding mass immigration, low European fertility rates, and Tarrant’s explanation for committing the attacks. For the most part, Tarrant makes it clear that the attack is intended on pouring fuel on the fire of division in the United States. Accelerating the left’s clampdown on Second Amendment rights. Digging deeper into the manifesto reveals a self-avowed eco-fascist with communist leanings. With more in common with Norway mass shooter Anders Breivik and fascist Oswald Mosley. While referencing Charleston Church shooter Dylan Roof as an apparent means of continuing to troll the left into responding.

Rep. Adam Schiff slams Mueller for not being tough enough against Trump

Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff has slammed Special Counsel Robert Mueller for not doing enough to get the necessary dirt on Trump to justify an impeachment. 

On the cusp of what looks like a bitterly disappointing report from Mueller’s office on alleged “Russian collusion,” key Democrats are already beginning to turn on Mueller.

“What we are interested in is, does the president have business dealings with Russia such that it compromises the United States?” Rep. Schiff (D-Calif.) said on “Meet the Press” Sunday “[I]f the special counsel hasn’t subpoenaed Deutsche Bank, he can’t be doing much of a money laundering investigation.”

Bigleaguepolitics.com reports: The investigation into President Donald J. Trump’s non-existent “collusion” with Russia has been underway for 18 months.

Apparently 18 months of work resulting in zero evidence of wrongdoing does not sit well with Schiff, who is certain that Trump has committed crimes. He’s just not sure which crimes.

In fact, finding no evidence of wrongdoing, in Schiff’s eyes, actually proves that Mueller is not “doing much of a money laundering investigation.” The House Intelligence Committee member wants Mueller to keep digging into Trump.

But that is not how the justice system is supposed to operate in the United States. Despite whether the radical left thinks Trump should be thrown in jail, in America, we investigate crimes, not people.

The scope of the investigation is already broader than what should be acceptable under the law, and still no wrongdoing has been found, other than process crimes stemming from the investigation itself.

This is behavior of totalitarians, not those who care about due process and rule of law. But then, we already knew that Democrats do not care about those things.

The crux of the Deutsche Bank claim is that they lended money to Trump in 1990’s and subsequently were penalized for letting Russian clients launder billions of dollars of money overseas.

What does this have to do with Trump, or supposed “collusion?” Nothing.

Starving Venezuelans’ Warnings To The US: “Socialism Is A Big Lie!”

Lured in by the lies socialists tell about how great it would be to have government control every aspect of everyone’s lives, Venezuelans are now disgusted with how much they have suffered.

Some are even warning the United States about their horrific daily lives in socialist Venezuela.

Venezuela is a perfect example of a democrats dream “democratic socialism.” However,people are starving and digging through trash cans in order to find the least rotten foodto eat.

 “You do not ever want anything close to socialism,” one Venezuelanprotestor told Campus Reform, a college news website. 

During a recent rally at Washington, several other Venezuelan victims of socialism also warned against the dangers of bringing the disastrous form of totalitarianism socialism onto American soil.

The Epoch Times reported that another Venezuelan said:

“People are eating from trash cans in the streets, so how has socialism helped?” another protestor said.

“Socialism is a big lie to people who are disadvantaged. It actually makes them worse off.”

But politicians bank on being able to convince people to give them more power under the guise of taking care of them, and historically, people continue to fall for the lie and become starving slaves to the government. 

Venezuela has been spiraling into deeper political chaos, which exacerbated by its ruined economy, massive inflation, starvation, and the inability of the citizens to fight back at all. 

 “No Venezuelan can like socialism, because we’ve seen it put in place very well,” a protestor said, according to Campus Reform.  

“It is not a game. It is not a game.It is not the route to go … don’t fall for it,” another protestor, who still has family in Venezuela, told the news website.

  “We always talk about the Nazis … but nobody ever talks about the socialists or communism. It has killed more people than Nazis did,” he continued.

Regardless of the warnings, or the actual historical facts, many Americans are still all too convinced that by becoming a slave to the government, their lives will be improved. The problem with socialists is not that they want to be enslaved and owned by the government, which they do.  The problem is that they want the rest of us to be enslaved right along with them.

U.S. Representative Ocasio-Cortez says to serve on financial services panel

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, part of a new crop of Democrats swept into office this year on a stronger liberal platform, said she is poised to serve on a key congressional panel overseeing Wall Street, a potential setback for the financial services industry.

“I’m looking forward to digging into the student loan crisis, examining for-profit prisons/ICE detention, and exploring the development of public & postal banking,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted late Tuesday. “I am very grateful for the opportunity to sit on this committee as a freshman.”

Other incoming progressive Democrats, including Katie Porter, Rashida Tlaib and Ayanna Pressley, are also expected to secure spots on the committee, Politico reported.

Representatives for Democratic U.S. Representative Maxine Waters, the panel chair, could not be immediately reached for comment.

Their reported appointments to the House Financial Services Committee would be a setback for the industry, which had hoped the committee would be filled by moderate Democrats more sympathetic to their issues.

The powerful committee also oversees the U.S. housing market, insurance and international finance sectors, among other areas.

It has also long been a major source of campaign contributions from Wall Street for both Democratic and Republican lawmakers. The flow of cash to the committee jumped in 2018 as the industry looked to rebuild bipartisan support it had enjoyed before the 2007-2009 financial crisis.

Ocasio-Cortez, 29, is part of a wave of female Democratic congressional candidates elected in November aiming to put more support behind the party’s liberal progressive wing.

She became the youngest woman elected to Congress, representing New York’s 14th congressional district in the Bronx and Queens after upsetting a longtime Democratic incumbent. She graduated from Boston University in 2011 with degrees in international relations and economics.

The Trade War Goes On And The United States Could Lose

The newest information about the trade war seems to state that the Chinese are in trouble and the United States is ready to declare a victory.  However, many analysts claim otherwise, saying the December “ceasefire” only gives China more time as the real issues still go unaddressed.

According to Seeking Alpha‘s John Engle,  the trade war is far from over. The December “ceasefire” has provided China with some breathing room and Trump with a totemic victory, but the real issues remain unaddressed. Additionally, there is no guarantee that we (the United States) will win. If anything, China may now have the upper hand. The continuation of the trade war will continue to inject uncertainty into already quite volatile financial markets. A resolution, even marginally in China’s favor, could well lead to a return to relative normalcy.

If the trade war continues to drag on, or if it intensifies at all, investors will suffer on both sides and markets around the globe will continue to suffer. Any sign of serious escalation, or of either side digging in its heels for a knock-down drag-out fight, investors would be wise to consider looking for safe-harbor investments to see them through the storm.  There have already been some harsh lessons the American public is having to deal with thanks to the trade war, and if this bleeds heavily into global markets, the entire world could be caught in the middle.

As the United States’ economy continues to undergo strain from all aspects (debt, tariffs, regulations) a prolonged and intensified trade war looks to be the proverbial straw that could break the camel’s back. The trade war’s underlying disputes remain largely unchanged and as long as China can keep the uneasy peace, or even prevent more than modest intensification, it should be able to weather the Trump storm and withstand the sustained winds of rhetoric.

 

McConnell Thumps Pelosi: The Senate Will Not Waste Its Time Considering a Democrat Bill Which the President Won’t Sign (VIDEO)

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) thumped Speaker-Designate Nancy Pelosi Wednesday night from the Senate Floor.

McConnell said the Senate won’t even consider legislation passed by the House Democrats this week because it won’t include border wall funding.

“Democrats will have to get serious about border security so that a government funding agreement can pass the House, earn 60 votes in the Senate, and receive a presidential signature,” McConnell said, adding, “All three of these things are needed. One partisan vote in the House won’t solve anything.”

“As I’ve said consistently for the last two weeks, the Senate will not waste its time considering a Democratic bill which cannot pass this chamber and which the President will not sign,” McConnell said.

Take that, Pelosi!

Earlier Wednesday Chuck and Nancy emerged from the meeting with President Trump at the White House vowing to pass bills that will re-open the government and stiff the President on border wall funding.

“Tomorrow we will bring to the floor legislation that will open up government. It will be based on actions taken by the Republican Senate,” Pelosi said.

 

Thankfully Mitch McConnell is digging in his heels and refuses to entertain Pelosi’s “showboating.”

New species of dinosaur discovered in museum basement

Paleontologists are used to digging deep for dinosaur remains–but to turn up a newly discovered dinosaur species, they had to dig no deeper than the basement of a London museum.

London’s Natural History Museum is a place of constant discovery–for school field trips and science buffs. But this particular discovery, officially known as Spinops sternbergorum, took place in a storage area in the museum’s basement.

“I knew right away that these fossils were something unusual, and it was very exciting to learn about their convoluted history,” said Dr Andrew Farke, who led the research team.

“Here we have not just one, but multiple individuals of the same species, so we’re confident that it’s not just an odd example of a previously known species.”
