Colo. judge bans release of suspect’s univ. docs 26 Jul 2012 A judge overseeing the criminal case against the suspect in the movie theater shooting has ordered the University of Colorado Denver not to release his school records. Numerous media organizations, including The Associated Press, filed open records requests for school records about former neuroscience graduate student James Holmes, the accused shooter. But in an order signed Monday and released by the school Thursday in response to an open records request by the AP, District Court Judge William Blair Sylvester said releasing the information would impede the ‘investigation.’

Colo. Judge Issues Gag Order in Theater Shooting 24 Jul 2012 Lawyers involved in the Colorado movie theater shooting are limited in how much they can say outside of the courtroom. Suspect James Holmes made his first court appearance Monday. After the hearing, the judge issued a gag order that bars attorneys from publicly commenting on matters including evidence, whether a plea deal is in the works or the results of any examination or test.

Whiny brat in Colorado claims she’s bullied for having 3rd racy photo rejected

A note from the LovePolice SF: Never-mind that there are some nefarious groups out there like the Club of Rome, CFR, and Bilderbergs meeting in secret! Getting a racy photo into a yearbook is THE mobilizing action of a lifetime, it surpasses everything else in importance. Please do not ignore Sidney Spies’ Whaaaaaaaambulance, and please send some cheese to go with that whine. Do not go to any street actions, or community meetings to warn people about potential dangers of smart-meters or Agenda 21, instead feel bad for Sidney and demand that she get her way in someone else’s publication.

The Colorado teenager who made national headlines when her racy senior pictured was rejected by the editors of her school yearbook has been the victim of bullying and discrimination and will continue to fight after the school rejected a third photo and used her school ID photo instead, her mother says.

Miki Spies, the mother of Durango High School senior Sydney Spies, told Westword magazine that she and Sydney’s father plan to file a complaint with the Durango, Colo., school board and superintendent in the hope that they “acknowledge that there’s been a lot of mishandling of this situation.”

“Sydney feels very bullied, by the entire school, basically,” Spies, 44, told Westword. “The school has been awful and the kids have been awful. She’s received very little support in any way from anybody. There’s been a ton of cyber-bullying, where people can say whatever they want without looking the person in the eyes. It’s been extremely hurtful for our entire family.”

Spies, 18, was notified last month by administrators at Durango High that a photo she submitted of herself posing in a short yellow skirt midriff and shoulder-exposing black shawl would not be allowed to be used as her senior portrait.
