As I was speaking to the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors on 9/27; where I have gone for the last 8 years – trying to get them to pass a resolution, which requests the federal government de-fund unconstitutional war; I was assaulted by the deputy sheriff on duty.
It happened as I was trying to inform him, as I was walking out; I’m on disability for 4 serious injuries in the last 2 years, as well as, him just having heard me speak on an being a victim of domestic violence and assault.
In the materials I had just given the Supervisors, were the statistics on how many public safety officers we could pay for, if our “wars funds” could stay in the USA; instead of the optional, first-strike, use of force missions we are paying for, with deeper debt each second.
We can only fix this, if you all speak as well; (with witnesses). Free speech during public comment is a Constitutional Right; which is quickly eroding.
