Door-to-door dog license checks start today

Starting today, Lucas County deputy dog wardens will begin door-to-door dog license checks in neighborhoods throughout the county.

The Lucas County Commissioners and Lucas County Dog Warden Tom Skeldon want the public to know that if their dog isn’t licensed, they might be in for a big surprise at their doorstep.

Starting today, Lucas County deputy dog wardens will begin door-to-door dog license checks in neighborhoods throughout the county. The license checking campaign will go throughout the spring and summer months as staff time allows.
